The photofacial, it’s the answer if you’re looking for that youthful glow without super-invasive treatment. Celebrities like Khloe Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and even Jennifer Aniston have attributed their dewy skin to these photofacials. Not exactly sure what a photofacial is or have some questions? You can find all of the answers here!
Khloe on her beach shoot. Look at that glowing skin. Photofacials can help.
Photofacials, also known as IPL’s (intense Pulsed Light), are a non-invasive antiaging tool. They help with collagen production, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles. They use a light-based technology, primarily for boosting collagen, treating brown spots and diminishing broken capillaries. Other names for photo facials are foto facials, facial rejuvenation and photo rejuvenation.
In an interview with New Beauty, Khloe Kardashian talked about her love of laser treatments:
“I love lasers and I do a ton of them on my face; I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I do them more for discoloration, but they do tighten, too. I’ve also done CoolSculpting and treatments for the stretch marks on my butt.”
If you’ve picked up any celebrity magazine in the last few years, you would’ve noticed how beautiful Khloe’s skin is… you might even be slightly jealous. Now that we know her glow is definitely affordable, I’ll be making an appointment. You’re able to see Khloe get some treatments if you watch her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Jennifer Aniston doesn’t seem to age at all. Since her debut on Friends, she has continued to look bright, young and fresh-faced – she still has that coveted ‘girl next door’ look. Aniston has recently revealed that her secret to her forever young skin is modern science. Laser facials keep her wrinkle free. Aniston claims the only downside to laser facials is that “[you] look like a battered burn victim” for a week afterwards:
“The dead skin on your face just kind of falls off for eight days,” she says. “After all the dead skin has sloughed off, you’re left with beautiful new and glowing skin.”
