MICROBLADING & TOUCH-UPS
It doesn't matter if you like them arched and feathered or straight and bold, eyebrows are arguably one of the most important facial features.
If you're not satisfied with the ones you have, there's a very natural option that delivers semi-permanent results. Ladies, we'd like to introduce you to microblading. Unlike the sometimes Sharpie-esque effects of permanent makeup, microblading is more of a delicate look mimicking the look of real hair by tattooing individual hair strokes.

Eyebrow microblading goes by a few different names like, microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering, and 3D eyebrows. No matter the name, the procedure of microblading eyebrows is relatively new here in Canada, but it has been popular in parts of Asia and Europe for roughly 25 years. We have a lot of experience with this procedure and are happy to offer a free consultation and well as show you some of our amazing results in our portfolio!
Making the world more beautiful, one brow at a time.
Microblading FAQ's
1Does it hurt?
We take every precaution necessary to ensure the microblading procedure is as pain-free as possible. A strong topical anesthetic cream is used before and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable while others report no discomfort at all. Our experienced microblading technician will do everything in her power to ensure the most comfortable experience possible.
2How long is the recovery or healing time?
Immediately after your microblading procedure and in the first 7-10 days, your brows will appear significantly darker and defined than your desired look. This is completely normal, and It may continue to get darker over the next few days as scabs begin to form, however, this is not an accurate indication of the finished and healed result. 30-50% of your brow color will fade as the scabs fall off within 7-10 days. In some cases, the scabs may take longer to heal and fall off. DO NOT PICK YOUR SCABS. The pigment is within the scab, and you do not want to pull any pigment out of your skin prematurely. We all heal differently and what works for one client may not be effective on another so please do not compare your results.
The complete healing process takes approximately six weeks however most people find the healing is sufficient to allow you to attend social events within one week.
3How does the technician choose a color?
We choose a color together by applying small amounts of different colored pigments to the skin near to your brows and selecting the best match for your skin tone, features, and personal preference. As a rule of thumb, we closely match the color of your brow hair rather than your current hair color for the most natural results.
4What types of pigments do you use?
We use iron oxide pigments that will fade over time and are naturally absorbed by the skin. Iron oxides are innocuous, harmless and perfectly safe for your skin.
5Can I have my brows microbladed if I’m pregnant?
At Beautique Med Spa we do not treat women who are presently pregnant or breastfeeding.
1Does it hurt afterward?

2Can you microblade over an existing brow tattoo?
Microblading can be done over an existing brow tattoo. However, the old tattoo must be significantly faded for the hair strokes to show through and look natural. Please advise if you have an existing tattoo and submit a picture to determine if you are a candidate for this procedure.
3Will my microbladed brows look fake?
No way! Semi-Permanent makeup is done using a cosmetic tattooing process, and our eyebrow technician’s extensive experience provides unique artistry that guarantees soft, natural looking eyebrows. When we implant semi-permanent makeup pigment in the skin, it appears more natural looking than topically applied cosmetics.
